Dior Christal Mystérieuse Watch

This one, not exactly what I would call “pretty” but most definitely striking and one of the more unique and engaging timepiece designs I’ve seen recently. Love it and want it.This futuristic looking watch by Dior may be a bit difficult to read but it sure is pretty to look at. The reason it’s difficult to tell the time is because the dial of the watch is always moving. There are three continually rotating plates, one for the hour, the minutes and the day. So no matter when you look at your watch, it will always look a little different. Black sapphire plates are inset in the steel case which creates the bezeled look and there are various shades of mother of pearl on the dial.. I really like how Dior chose a classic 44mm wide diver watch style case as a base for the Christal Mysterieuse as it helps ground this item as art on top of a timepiece. The movement itself is a quartz. The case is water resistant to 50 meters, and is attached to an alligator strap. Sized with men in mind, the right woman will also be able to pull this look off. Price will be about 20,000 Euros when the watch is released in the fall.
