Bulgari Save the Children Ring

To celebrate the Bulgari’s 125th anniversary, it choose to release the Save the children Ring the luxury brand has chosen to support Save the Children, commemorates the Italian luxury brand’s 125th anniversary. Bulgari’s mission in this endeavor is to raise ?10 million (approx. $12.6 million) for Save the Children by the end of 2009. This creates a special ring as part of a global campaign to help improve education for millions of children living in conflict-affected areas.
The ring was crafted in sterling silver in a nod to Bulgari’s heritage, and it features the Bulgari name scrolled on the outside and has “S. Bulgari” engraved on the outside and “Save the Children” on the inside. The ring is now on sale and will be available in all Bulgari stores throughout the world, as well as on Bulgari’s e-commerce Web site, Shop.Bulgari.com, until the end of 2009.The ring retails for $290.
Additionally, Bulgari will auction a collection of one-of-a-kind pieces with a total value of 3 million. The collection consists of 15 pieces of jewelry and eight limited edition timepieces. It will be introduced at the opening of Bulgari’s retrospective museum exhibit, at the Palazzo delle Esposiaioni, and auctioned in NYC in December.
A-list celebrities who are participating in the campaign include Willem Dafoe, Benicio Del Toro, Sally Field, Fiorello, Andy Garcia, Valeria Golino, Jason Lewis, Julianne Moore, Gabriele Muccino, Kimberly Peirce, Ben Stiller, and Sting.
